Your going to be gettiing diffrent proteins and diffrent opinions from eveyone on this topic. Protein is protein..it doesent matter which one you end up choosing. Just pick one that satisfies your taste in flavor. IMO my top flavors according to company would have to be:
Cellucor PB Marshmellow & Cinnamon Swirl
IForce Nutrition Vanilla Cake Battter/ Vanilla Mint Swirl/ Red Velvet Cake
Giant Sports Chocolate
XF Whey
I also heard Cellucors CnC has been getting good reviews as well.IForce Nutrition Compete Review: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=145939303

No such thing as best as it comes down to preference, so just pick one with flavors you enjoy, nutritional content you like and price that you can afford and you're good to go. But if you want recommendation I would say...
ProNom 23, I-Force Protean, Trutein, XF 2.0 (more of a meal replacement), San Metaforce or Giant Sports.
Best bet is to get sample of each if possible and go from there, with that said feel free to get you a sample of Chocolate Cupcake Batter Pronom23 here...

Be careful though I think I remember one of the body fortress whey had like 5g of creatine in each scoop. But generally yes it's fine but you probably gonna be paying the same price as you would online from some of our suggestions up top which would taste a whole lot better. I mean if you gonna drink something everyday and possibly multiple times a day wouldn't you want it to taste great or at least bearable?

This exactly. There are a ton of options to choose from.
My first choice would be Trutein, because I love the blend and consistency of the powder, the flavors are delicious, and the profile is perfect, IMO. It also works amazing for all baking and cooking uses, which is a very common use of protein powder for myself.
Other options I enjoy include Giant Sports, PROnom, Dymatize Elite Casein, and SAN MetaForce.
Great to hear! I love those flavors as well... I hope you savor those though, because unfortunately both of those flavors have been discontinued
There will be two more new flavors released shortly to fill the void, and I think many people will be very pleased with theseNASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist

Doesn't beat the amino acid profile of whey? PDCAAS (protein digestibility corrected amino acid score) numerically ranks protein sources based on the completeness of their essential amino acid content, and has a maximum score of 1.0. Egg, whey, casein, milk, and soy all have a 1.0, the highest score possible. Assuming adequate dietary protein is being eaten in the first place, all proteins easily meet human protein requirements.
Now all you need to do is show how whey performs better than any other high-quality protein because of its bioavailability, or for any other reason. Faster recovery? Muscle gain? Fat loss? Anything? I thought these small differences in quality between high-quality proteins were irrelevant, but surely you're about to prove otherwise.

No it's terrible. Don't do it. I started out with a tub of walmart protein and it tasted like garbage. I upgraded to Gold Standard and it was like I was delivered from a horrible plague. My Trutein arrives today and I expect even better of it, supposed to be a gift from the Aesthetic gods.

My training partner got three tubs of the Walmart six star stuff two years ago as a gift. I actually could not be anywhere near him for 3 months - he had the worst gas!
Stuff I tried recently and liked:
Healthy & Fit Whey Pro-Amino - Chocolate
Ultimate Nutrition Iso Sensation - Strawberry
Now Whey Isolate - Chocolate
Allmax IsoFlex - Chocolate (expensive)
Dymatize Elite - Chocolate FudgeThe Three D's... Desire, Determination and Dedication!

SAN Platinum Isolate Supreme - vanilla sundae
Muscletech Phase 8 - milk chocolate, vanilla
Millennium Sport Technologies - MVP-365
New Chapter - WholeMega

I disagree with everyone on this. I think Protein type/brand definitely matters. I don't want some garbage from china that's full of toxins or might not even contain what the company is claiming it does. I stick with reputable brands that offer high amounts of high quality protein per serving at a good price. ON 100% Whey is my go-to, but I also trust Universal, MuscleTech, and Dymatize.

iForce Protean Red Velvet Cake. It only comes in 2lb tubs so you can end up going through them quick.
But I like to have a variety so I dont get sick of the flavor- so 2lb tubs ends up being ok.
There're a ton of other worthy ones-
PROnom 23 Chocolate Cupcake Batter- Taste- 8/10
Cellucor Performance Whey Peanut Butter Marshmellow; Cinnamon Swirl; CnC - Taste 8/10; 8/10; 7/10
Musclepharm Combat- Cookies and Cream - Taste 6.5/10
iForce Vanilla Cupcake Batter; Red Velvet Cake - Taste 6.5/10; 10/10
Gaspari MyoFusion Probiotic- Cinnamon Roll - Taste 7/10 (Wrecks havoc on the stomach though)
These are just some opened tubs on the shelf. Just depends on what you like, what you want to spend.

I was thinking the same. But then again.. what about a company that produces the product here in the states, but some of the ingredients are shipped from overseas to cut cost? How would we know as that would not be something they would openly advertise. Just saying.
