Hey there,
So I'm going to sub out my whey protein shake pre workout for BCAAs and I was curious about which brand/ amino acid ration was best.
I've seen everything from Cyto sports monster amino which has an 8-1-1 ratio to scivation extend which has a 2-1-1.
Does anyone have any insight, research or a personal opinon they would like to share on the matter.
Also I have "heard"- which doesnt mean alot that cytosport is not a very high quality company. anyone have any insight on this as well?

AI Sports RecoverPro
CL Purple Wrath
Those are my two favorites and I currently use them.
However, this SAN product looks appealing. I have had no complaints on any SAN product in the past, may have to give this one a go even if just to review and offer an opinion on it.Platform Supplemets:

*4 grams L-Taurine
*1.5 grams of alpha-hydroxy-isocaproic acid (HICA) which is the full studied dose!
*2 grams L-Carnitine Tartrate (LCLT) which is the full studied dose!
*2 grams of patented Magnesium Glycyl Glutamine Chelate
*1.5 grams Malic Acid
*500mg Vitamin C
*200mg of patented Calci-K (calcium potassium phosphate-citrate)

Am I typing something incorrectly or what? Because I cannot find this on bb.com, google, and even BCS Lab's website. I cannot find this Amino Xcel. BCAA is my favorite supplement and I am seeking for the best one. I went from Amino Recovery to Cellucor B-BCAA. If there is anything that tramples Cellucor's BCAA, I would be happy to jump boats.

BCAA Help
I currently do Insanity and P90X, as well as half marathon training. I wanted to incorporate BCAAs during my long runs so that I don't burn muscle. I saw an article on this site stating, "However, BCAAs release insulin, which makes them anabolic just like carbs. Because they act like carbs, it's probably best not to take them before a low-intensity cardio workout—especially if you're trying to burn that last pound or two of body fat." This confuses me now as my long runs are meant to be slow and I feel they're low-intensity compared to Insanity. Anyway, I don't want to burn my muscles off and curious if anyone can elaborate as to when I should take the BCAAs? New to BCAAs and could use some advice. Thanks so kindly.

I love AminoLast as my intra workout and on my big 3 lifts I will mix it tgt with Glycofuse.
However, I used to be an idiot to think that magnum's DNA does not work. After personally trying it for only 2 days, I am already starting to see the difference hahahahaha

Is that how you order too? BB needs to pick brand up. From reading the front, which could be deceiving, this looks more badass than Cellucor Beta BCAA. Two scoops of Beta BCAA is what it takes to get 10g BCAA and 1.5g HICA. If what you see is what you get with Amino XCel, then XCel is definitely superior.

You won't burn muscle so long as you're not fasting for extreme amounts of time or incredibly hypocaloric. If your calories are sufficient as pertaining to your daily activity, you shouldn't be worrying about losing muscle mass.
Should you want to supplement BCAAs, typically during exercise is when they're utilized. Either that or directly before.

I got the Purple Lemonade flavor. I got a sample of it which tasted AMAZING. Bought a tub almost immediately after.
The tub tasted a little diff from the sample, but I still liked it. I don't drink it everyday tho, so 45 servings last me a long time. About 2 months later, the smell alone starts to repulse me and the taste as well. I can't tell if I'm just starting to get sick of it, or if somehow moisture got into my tub or something. =[
I'm thinking og either laying off BCAAs for a while, and coming back to Purple Wraath in a few months, or getting a tub of something else and trying Purple Wraath again after that is done. Because I have a tub from like July of Xtend that's still about half full now, and I never really liked that at all.
I also got samples from AI Sports a few months ago. No offense to them, since I see a lot of people like their products. But I personally didn't like them at all. Ended up throwing half the samples away w/o finishing them. =[
