Some of you might remember my first thread about converting a mini bus and going on a cross country road trip with 4 of my buddies. We put some pictures in there from the trip but I wanted to make a new thread documenting our trip. These are only a tiny percentage of pictures I have and I also have TONS of video, but I’m only posting pics now.



This is the bus we bought last winter with Volta55 standing in front. He and my other friend (fuelinjection23) are also on the misc. Anyway, it was love at first sight and we took it home.



We would spend the next months converting it into a camper to travel across the country.

Inside pretty much complete. Put in nice floors, cupboards, made the seats so they can be turned sideways, and put in a sink with a hand pump.




….and a pullup bar for makin gainz on the road




Also made this map table with our route highlighted. We poured a layer of epoxy over it so has a rock hard clear coating over it.

The bus is done and we’re ready to go! We left June 3rd from Connecticut. Here is the inside with everything ready to go





We started out driving straight to Cedar Point, OH. Got a campsite right at the amusement park and spend the next day at the park. Some sick rides there.

Our exhaust pipe rusted away, so we chained it up at first and ended up doing a half ass fix later on so we didn’t have trouble going across the border

Next we headed into Yellowstone. These are the grand Tetons which you pass by on the way in.

My friend found this in the woods at Yellowsone. We hid it under the bus at night, but someone left a bottle of alcohol on our table, which caught some ranger’s attention. We got woken up at 3 a.m and my friend got slammed with a $250 ticket and lost the antlers.

Next, we went up through Montana and into Glacier National Park. We swam in a lake there and holy hell coldest water ever.

We passed into Canada after this. Almost didn’t make it through. They gave us crap about our insurance and wanting to see proof that we had money to sustain our trip. After an hour or 2 we made it through.
We went up to Golden, BC and went riding at Mt. 7, the location of Red Bull Psychosis. We met these sick locals that shuttled us up the mountain and showed us the trails.

Next we headed to Kamloops and got a hotel / wandered around yucky






After Kamloops we headed to our ultimate destination, Whistler. We stayed here for 5 days in a nice apartment did lots of riding and went out on the town for nights. It was an amazing time and we got some sick riding videos.

Next, we headed to Vancouver. Did some nice trolling with the horsehead






From there we went back down into the US. Drove straight through Washington along the coast and into Oregon. We went to a sick local mountain called Blackrock. There was no lift or shuttle roads, so you had to hike your bike up the entire mountain. We only did 1 run but it was incredible and totally worth it.

Our next stop was in San Fransisco. Fuelinjection23 had relatives there so we parked at their house and took the BART into the city for the day.

When the sun went down, things started to get bad. Some of us got a little too yucky and we ended up losing one friend. He had to get a hotel in the city because he couldn’t find the train in time. Volta 55 split off the train a stop too early cause his bladder was about to explode. He couldn’t remember how to get home and his phone died so he slept at the train station on a bench hhaha.

From San Fransisco we went to Lake Tahoe to stay with my cousin. We did some sick riding there and stopped at a winery in Napa on the way.








We found this awesome spot on the side of the road to swim









Next stop was Yosemite. This is tioga pass.

After Yosemite, we headed through death valley.









My friend tried to skateboard down a massive hill. It looked like it ended and went up hill, but it was an optical illusion and just kept going down. He got pretty messed up ok his arms and legs. He had 2 huge holes in the palms of his hands.

Virgin, Utah. This was right outside Zion and it’s the location of Red Bull Rampage. It was too dry and loose to ride and most of the hits were insane.

Had an amazing time on this trip. We were gone about 7 weeks total, and these pictures are only a fraction what we did. Stay tuned for a video with some crazier stuff.
