I'm curious, what is the normal range of dumb bell weights at gyms these days? At my gym they go up to 125 lbs, which I suspect is above average.
Just knowing there are heavier weights, even if I can't use them yet for certain lifts, inspires me to lift harder and seeing gyms that only have dumb bells that go to 80 lbs is a disappointment. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Pretty heavy, at least 160. Im not sure though, havnt touched a dumbell in 4 months.

125lbs, not once have I seen anyone lift them. In fact I moved them the other day to fit some weights on the rack and a spider was flat as fuk literally crushed to death underneath the weight.

They only go to 75 at my gym, so phucking pissed, my gym is full of weak *******s who think 75 dumbbells is something to brag about...

They go up to 140 at my university gym which is plenty for me right now.
I usually db bench after bb and get up to the 110s for 5-6 reps
