Their protein isnt top quality but flavoring is normally great...cant wait to give this a shot.
Anyone else plan on picking it up?

as an iForce Nutrition rep, part of me hope MM's RVC flavor is at least decent. Definitely dont want customers to try this version first, not liking it, then refuse to try ours. I already had that experience with banana flavored whey. They were alllllll NASTY and I refused to buy/try other brands' because of that....until I got a sample of Myofusion Banana and made me a believer.

The samples of Muscle Milk Chocolate powder we tested contained all four heavy metals, and levels of three metals in the product were among the highest of all in our tests. Average cadmium levels of 5.6 µg in three daily servings slightly exceeded the USP limit of 5 µg per day, and the average lead level of 13.5 µg also topped the USP limit of 10 µg per day. The average arsenic level of 12.2 µg was approaching the USP limit of 15 µg per day, and the average for mercury was 0.7 µg, well below the USP's 15 µg-per-day limit. Three daily servings of Muscle Milk Vanilla Crème contained 12.2 µg of lead, exceeding lead limits, and 11.2 µg of arsenic. A fourth product, Muscle Milk Nutritional Shake Chocolate (liquid), provided an average of 14.3 µg of arsenic per day from three servings, approaching the proposed USP limit.

I don't know about acceptance. I think MM gets a bad rap because of the funky macros and cost for what you get. Flavor wise MM is fine, but there are better protein supplements on the market.
Trutein and Protean kick MM's proverbial azz with regard to flavor and the macros are friendlier and easier to work with.
Plus, I think MM gets a stigma as a "noob" product because there was a time when the bros preached this stuff at the gym.

LOL. On a cost per gram of protein basis, yes it's expensive. $10 per lb is legit for WPC, but not a blend, and definitely not a blend that is primarily carbs and fat. So yes, at $20 for their 2.47 lb bottle is a bit high in comparison to equal blends on the market (wouldn't put MM flavor profile anywhere near Protean or Trutein, closer to Elite XT, Elite Gourmet and possibly Myofusion - This is opinion though).
Read my comment again as to why it is, possibly (you could be right, I have no clue and don't care enough to look), out sells other brands.
"Plus, I think MM gets a stigma as a "noob" product because there was a time when the bros preached this stuff at the gym."
Bros at the gym and noobs see it and hear about it at the gym from the bros and pick it up, plus they do a crapton of marketing. It's the same reason why people still fawn over ON.
If you like MM, buy it. If you want to try it, buy it. RV Protean though already nailed it.
