That was the original posting in bold. Under the section entitled "The Rules:"

"Each lift contested will be a one-rep maximum."


A calculator for your maximum is not accurate. I can max my deadlift ~70lbs higher than my best pull for 2.

For this contest to make any sense at all, the lifts have to be a one rep maximum.

Yes, you have to pause it for a second or two on the chest before you press upwards. Not for too long, but it should be motionless for a moment - no stretch reflex.

Squat - Maybe 330 (have done 315 for 3 reps ATG)
Deadlift - 435
Bodyweight - 173lbs

Plus you have until December. And you are already ahead of me in Bench and Dead by a LOT. I weigh a little less than you atm tho.
