Deadlifts on back or leg days?

To which routine do you add deadlifts? I'm not so sure about it because it work both back and legs! For me it feels like it puts more pressure on my legs!
Also, how much rest would you suggest between deadlifting and squatting when you use the exercises on different days?

its a back workout legs are 1/3 of the motion but once your legs lockout its all back i do them on back day which is after leg day bc if i deadlift before its makes my outer quads sore and effects my squat

if you feel it more on your legs then its best to do it on leg day. as for resting , whenever your legs feel ready to workout again is when i suggest. just dont workout if your body feels bad , trust me its not good.

It's up to you OP. Try to plan your routine so that lower back gets adequate rest.

I always have them as part of my back day since I don't fancy squatting heavy and deadlifting heavy in the same workout. I'd be far from my best to give my maximum effort for my other exercises that day.

If you feel them on legs too much, it means you are doing them stiff legged. so do them on leg day. Otherwise check your form, coz you should be feelin it more on your lower back.

I'm pretty sure its the opposite. If you feel it in your legs, you are using a longer ROM in your leg bend than in your hip bend.

I do them on leg day as well.

Not necessarily. I feel deadlifts in my legs because I start very low to purposely use my legs. If one goes heavy, legs will need to be used, at least if each rep is from a dead stop.

OP, as someone else said, see what feels better for you. If you have enough time to recover between back nd leg day, I would opt for back day. I do RDL on leg day.

I do them on leg day cause I'm doing stiff-legged deadlifts so I feel it more in the hamstrings but still getting lower back...
