In the small town where I live. Me and my Dad went halves, closed on it the other day. Got it for $230,000. There's 3 apartments above it, so there's gauranteed income and the membership is at 74 members.
This is what it looks like as you walk through the door, any advice on latest/greatest machines out there?
This is the cooler and protein bars. The guy that owned it tried to stock a little sups but I'm not sure that'll work. ABB Speedstacks and muscle milk sells a ton, but I need ideas on what to stock cooler with. Also, any ideas on how I can make $$ selling sups would be appreciated.
The iron!
2 Landice treadmills we just bought. We want to get membership up by getting cardio bunnies, but way too many ironheads eye fuark them. Any ideas on how to get membership up misc?
Men's locker room
Cardio room. It's small, there's 2 steppers, 2 elipticals and 2 bikes in there.
Last pic, back towards the front door.
We're limited in space, and the equipment is in good/fair condition but misc I need ideas on how I can up the membership and sell more products. We have 2 showers in each men's and women's locker rooms. Any ideas would be helpful. We named it Crow's American Gym. It was called the American Gym, so we kept that and added my brother's nickname (Crow). He died in an accident a few yrs ago and he lifted in this gym. We're currently siding the building and putting up a new sign. I'll keep misc updated.

The guy was trying to get rid of it asap. He has been trying to sell it for years. Like I said, we are siding it, and there are other issues like a roof that needs addressed. Also, like I said, the equipment is in good/fair condition. After figuring out brass taxes, the apts are the only way this gym is profitable, and even at that, it isn't much. It's a family project and a way to honor my brother so we pulled the trigger.Failure is not my destiny

Put a huge "Misc" banner up, along with other banners/ poster of: Arnold and other athletes, and maybe a flag or something.
EDIT: Invest in some Eleiko equipment, can't go wrong; I've heard it's cheap(er) in the US.Die Antwoord is GOAT crew

Honest opinion:
Get out there and greet your members. Let them know you appreciate them and ask them what they would like to see change in the gym (make a list and don't talk to the same people twice).
Your members telling their friends/family how awesome the gym is will bring in the new members man.
Good luck.Negs for life:
