Summer Transformation Contest?

Anyone here down for a transformation contest? The NFTT went pretty well, and I figured it was time for another contest to see which nut. section member can get the joociest.

I'm thinking it can run from May-August. Did you guys like the format of the NFTT, or would a more simple contest be better?

I agree with this.. If we do this, I think we need to make sure that the brackets stay large enough to enhance competition, but also small enough that those who really did bust ass aren't overshadowed. Muscle gain is so hard to tell in such a short window, so I think there should be no intermediate judging for the winner. Just a straight 3 month contest time period..

Now for cutting, I could see how intermediate judging would be ok.

Did you guys think having brackets were a good addition last time? I agree, by the nature of things if people were uncommitted it tended to fuk everything up. We can just have the categories and just have a final winner if you guys want.

Good point was brought up about finals in May for college kids..maybe June-September would be a better time frame?

I was just thinking about the NFSC today, is there another one planned for this year with judging from mods? Didn't get entered in that one, but liked how it worked. Perhaps a NMFSC?

Anyway it goes down, I'm in. Maybe bb.com will throw in some of thier new branded whey or something.

I spoke to Alan a few nights ago about this year's NFSC. He will be doing it but he's also spearheading a very interesting round table discussion on training for his blog. Stay tuned.

Ahh, well if Alan is doing the NFSC then I'll leave it to him. This wasn't associated with the NFSC, but his contest is more legit

I'd be pretty happy with this only because the first two weeks is dedicated to Dominican and wedding-related stuff for my sister.

If any of y'all want to get the contest going, just PM me whatever thread(s) you need stickied once it's put together. I can donate reps to the victors & get other mods in on the reppage as well. You can copy-paste my NSFC rules/regs as a template. I normally would love to do this & I had a lot of fun with it last year, but it's just not in the cards for me - too many work obligations this season.

I think a one month delay is perfectly fine. Gives people a chance to skip over May.

I'm in. Perhaps we don't do brackets this time but rather just take the top x amount of people on to the next round. That way those who make the biggest improvements get rewarded and don't get eliminated just because they went against someone else that busted ass while others go on due to drop outs.
