I believe in morality, which is doing what is right regardless of what I'm told... Not in religion, which is doing what I'm told regardless of what is right.

please click that and listen carefully.
Yet you claim the response changes drastically. You're pulling facts out of your ass and you know it.
Edit: Also please drop the pseudo-intelligent act. It is annoying and makes you sound like a douchebagLazy natty lifter.

hodge twins are not stupid, they know their sht, you can't be completely ignorant and build physiques like taht naturally.. first off they obviously know that if you eat 1 pop tart or 1 cheat, and fit into what you eat during the day you are not going to fuk anything up. BUT what they do say is that if you are eating pop tarts, sugary cereals, pop and a bunch of other sht throughout the day its gonna fuk your gains up. But if you do everything sensibly, it aint even that serious man.

hodge twins are just saying to not eat all the sugary stuff because it'll leave you feeling still empty and craving for more. complex carbs will take longer to digest and leave you feeling full longer. that's it. shut the fuk up they never said you can't lose fat if you eat them, just that you will NOT have the self-control to eat only 1 daily ''crap'' food.
lettuce be fukkin cereal most people on IIFYM would look like this because they just can't eat 1 poptart and leave it at that. they can't. no self-control.

i like this kid, but i can see he is going to have an extremely frustrating time making gains. Brb "why arnt i making gains i did everything kleinman et al outline in section B of their study into the mitochondrial response to training etc" Science only takes you so far in lifting, IMO the best advice comes from those with experience and scientification understanding(someone like layne norton), then second best is those with experience and no scientific understanding (hodge twins) and lastly those who have little experience and alot of scientific understanding(this Ian kid).

yeah he is also a what like late teens early 20s? i put on that size going from 16-18 without training and diet. He makes very good points and is impressively knowledgeable, but until hes in his late 20s with 5+ years of lifting i dont see how he can put down others advice and say his is better than anyone elses, let alone people whove acheived more. its kind of like the difference between a kid who just finished his 3 year degree in business, and a guy whos owned a business for 3 years, i can tell you who im going to for business advice and its not the kid.

The bottom line is that Ian really doesn't care about taking his body composition to the next level that a bodybuilder has. He has an interest in human physiology, but a much greater interest in psychology. He's been through rough personal sh!t, and he uses weight training as a way to let him cool off. He's an intellectual guy and he just so happens to have an interest (not BB'er like obsession) with weight training, so put both of those together and you got a guy who enjoys doing research and proving valid information.
Just a weight lifter

yeah fair enough good point, i was really more just making the point that when your taking advice science doesnt have all the answers and that experience can be just as valid. but yeah as a person hes seems really cool and is actually one of the better communicators on youtube in terms of scientific explanations, but i wouldnt take advice from him or the twins TBH there are alot of better sources
