Is it normal to be losing grip at 235? I usually get up the first 3 reps just fine, but the last 2 slip so much that I have to reset and regrip, I have already tried using reverse grip
Should I supplement my workout with farmer walks or forearm curls?

By reverse grip I assume you are using one hand over and one under? Just had to say it
But there are a ton of things to do to improve grip. Also towel deadlifts, Reeves rows, holding a dumbell by the weighted end. Use this site's search engine to see a ton of them. Make sure you are eating enough before deadlifts too, if I only have one or two meals before deadlifting my grip is dead.
Everyone is different but forearm curls have helped with size but never grip on deadlifts for me. Holding a deadlift at the top and squeezing the bar to burn out my grip has though.

will invest in some chalk, how about straps and belts, when do those generally come into play? because currently I'm doing them raw
