High lat inserts make me a sad panda. Think it would be best to incorporate more lean in my posing to reduce the overall 'empty' space, but when I do I seem to throw off my posing. Also, last noods whoring for a couple weeks. Will update when I'm finishing up the leaning out stage

you and me have similar lat/bicep inserts (with mine being about half the size obviously). finally bringing my back up this summer and high inserts make me feel like i have wings that just stick out, its wierd haha

Aesthetically, I actually don't mind high lats. I think it aids in a good tapered look. For competing purposes, it is a negative.

Back wise, I think I'm somewhat similar to Flex Lewis and he's managed to make his back a thing of beauty despite higher lats. Part of it is posing, but part of it will also be better lower back development.

I don't want to, I will. Don't know if I'll ever be able to do it on a consistent basis, but it is on my list and one of the few things I know is if I set my mind to get something done it will happen. For me, it is more a matter of timing. I have other priorities in life that it has to be balanced with. One of those other things on the list of things I will do is get my doctorate. So I can't just forego my educational responsibilities to get shredded. Likely, I'm looking at summer of 15 as my first competition, but we'll see how things shake out.

Okay well here's a little bit of progress.
Sorry I hardly have any "before" pictures...I never really took much, I guess since I was always ashamed of being so small. Now wish I would have.
Anyways this is right around 3 months of solid work.

I'm not sure, I'm going to continue I think for another ~8weeks.
It's been really pleasing and slow this time around so I'm not feeling any different
