To be fair Ronnie said after doing the Arnold one time he would never do it again b/c at the Olympia he was completely ****ed up and on Oxygen. Kai's at the size now that its much harder for him to peak twice a year, IMO he was much better at the NY PRO then at the Olympia but since the shows were even closer then the Arnold I'm sure that played a role in not peaking as good for the O. Farrah I'm sure knows what he's doing after all he brought Kai's gut way down.

i gotta agree here. practicing peaking is where the attention should be going. taking long periods of time off is for gaining extra mass where he is defly not lacking.
to be fair ronnie was already a triple olympia winner by that stage so was well experienced in peaking.
also gurus may put their 2 cents in regarding what the pro should do but at the end of the day its the pro's decision what they want to do, the gurus simply deal with the hows - the best strategy to tackle it with regards to planning diet, 'supps', sometimes training as well etc."Though the concept is not scientifically validated in detail (it should be considered as a hypothesis rather than a scientific theory), it is useful from a practical standpoint. If kai can take this time and bring his delts and traps up just a little bit he will be freakiest looking bodybuilder ever imo. Well along with Ronnie, obviously. I mean even if he can't he's still one of the most impressive examples of muscular development seen anywhere.
The thing witb Heath is, his natural narrowness actually makes his outrageously developed arms and delts look even more impressive, add to that the fact he has crazy conditioning and definition everywhere and he is an insane looking bodybuilder. "The Gift" is a tag he deserves. Still. All that said, I think an on Kai is his equal or maybe a little better if he can nail the conditioning at his current size.
I'd love to see Kai win it in 2012 then see him and Phil go toe to toe in epic battles for the next decade or so.☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

Branch still has a decent chance at the AC... After winning the Masters show Dexter hinted that he might not compete at the Arnold... I assume he will, but there's a possibility he won't. Unless he's announced otherwise since then.

Kinda what I thought....can't blame him,but if he tries to come in at the same size as last year it will be a waste of an effort. Kai needs to drop like 10lbs and come in his old shredded self if he wants to beat Heath.
I don't think Branch will be at his best at all. Something about the leg injury makes me wonder how good he'll look.
Dex seems to have gotten back on track, but is it enough to hang with the big boys? The two shows he won this year (Masters and FIBO?) were shows everyone expected him to win.
IMO, at least right now, the battle is between Wolf and Evan.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

I hope he will bring The package to the 2012 Olympia and wins Sandow with the best appearance since Ronnie 2003. Would be shame if that kind of masterpiece would not get properly shown because of lack in condition.

kai follows his passions, not necessarily what we would call logic. he's come in off a few times now, there is no way of knowing 100% exactly what went wrong, u just have to keep tweaking & if u hit on something that works, then thats the reference frame. but if kai has a picture in his mind of what he wants to be, it may be even more massive then thats what he'll follow even if its high risk from any rational pt of view.

i would almost agree with this, but i do think it's not about mass at all, rather trying to take the pressure of peaking more than once off him... the problem is it makes the olympia weigh a whole lot more, and with his consistency problems with coming in condition, it just puts the pressure on a lot more. the extra time might give him time to work out a peaking strategy that might work, but i dunno... i don't see him taking the time to run any practice peaks or anything like that

I dont think so bro, he hasnt a long off season for a long time, has competed multiple times a year since he turned pro, and for the past 3 years he's allways look his best at the first group of shows he does in a year and slightly fades once the olympia comes round.
Plus he's won the arnold twice allready and all his attention is rightfully on becoming Mr Olympia.benevolent vaginal showers? Wow such a wordsmith. That can def happen. I do NOT want the Sahara Desert.

if he doesn't need the money then it's probably a pretty good idea to sit it out. i think it's way easier to dial in for one show, or a couple shows close together (i.e. within the same month or so) than it is to dial in for two shows about 6 months apart. personally i much prefer phil over kai, but the idea of kai putting all his eggs in the olympia basket scares me lol. kai nailing his conditioning at this size will be a scary thing to see

i overlooked alot that was written so i could write what i had to say,
i honestly feel this might be a good move for kai, he gets to put in more time and focus on HIS goal you know? since condition is the issue at hand it gives him more time and time is the thing that all bodybuilders are fighting against. the more the better. thats just my take on things.
