Shanghai rocks! It seriously puts NYC to shame. The only other cities I've been to that I think are better when it comes to skyrises and modern architecture is Tokyo and Hong Kong. And best of all you can party with me. ^_^

Funny you say that because we are pondering the same thing. It's between Cali from SF to SD, Texas, the trip you did in the national parks, Korea or Hawaii. But not till end of next summer when kids are a little older especially kids.

Yes bro, it's worth it for sure. I don't mind the drive since the scenary is different from what I'm used to. We drove from San Diego to Vega to Lake Tahoe to Yosemite to San Fran and took the Coastal Hwy back to LA.

south Padre Island is a beach destination and is more known for the party scene but so is Clearwater Beach and I had a great time with my kids.

After we got our house reaccessed for its value, it ended up being worth less than 100K from when we bought it... We had to foreclose it, file bankruptcy, cut our losses, and we moved to vegas because of it's lower living standard.

We are just renting another house now.

I actually haven't been to a movie premiere for close to 10 years (don't wanna fight for good seats with you kids but if I was a regular, I'd think twice about these blockbuster premieres from now on. Maybe catch a matinee instead of a midnight or a primetime showing.

It sure is but there was that one couple who brought their young 5 year old and 4 month old baby. Wtf it was a midnight showing and wtf at the father who left his wife and kids in the theatre and drove off.

Bought my wife a kindle fire last week but she hasn't opened it yet and my work just gave me an iPad yesterday. She wants to return kindle and get an iPad. Lol

Nah I like the GUI of apple products better, very intuitive. I would switch to all apple had I not bought my personal laptop last year and requested a dell for my work laptop. I'm seeing apple every where now.

I was never an apple fan due to the proprietary features but it's not so bad.

That nexus is nice though and I should have got that instead of kindle when I first got it. She wants the bigger screen too

I guess it depends on the level of comfort you want and how much to you is a good price. All economy seats differ from each airline. And since you live in the East Coast your flight time will be an extra 6+ hours to get to Seoul. If you're going economy for cheapest go China Eastern if you don't mind being seriously cramped in tiny seats and no leg room. Korean Air isn't too bad. If I'm traveling around asia then I go economy and I usually only fly Air China, Qatar Air, Eva Air, China Eastern, or Singapore Airlines. For longer trips then I usually fly business class and only go with Air China, Qatar Air, or Virgin Atlantic because they're safer. They switch out planes every 2-3 years so you're not on a hunk of sh!t that's been in service for like 30 years. Don't fly some U.S. brand airline because you're just a target in my opinion. You'll find out how much americans are hated when you go overseas especially Korea haha.
