So I left a costco bag of muscle milk protein and a big tub of NOW Carbo Gain on top of the oven. My roommate then heated up the over to 350 and cooked something for about 40 minutes. There is no damage to the muscle milk bag but the Carbo Gain container is warped and a little melted. I only noticed about 40 minutes after he was done eating and both the containers were still warm... I have two concerns.
1. Do you think there is any health hazards from the melted/warped plastic of the carbo gain container or any hidden damage on the muscle milk container? For example, would by carb powder now contain plastic chemicals?
2. Did the heat from the oven effect the nutritional value of the supplements?
I'm leaning towards throwing them both out...

I doubt there is going to be a problem with either one, if either of them smells off you could toss them. You have to think that when product like this is shipped they are subject to somewhat high temps in transport with no issues. if the plastic was really melted it may have leached into the powder and in that case toss it for sure.
