A tad about me:
- Smiley is a nickname given to me by an older gentleman since I always...well, smiled when I would greet him
- I have quite a sedentary career and make up for it at the gym.
- I like constructive criticism.
- It's been about a year since I began lifting last summer (2010)
- Progress pictures are up on my page from start to now
- I take creatine and sometimes other supplements (listed on my bodyspace)
- ...I enjoy long walks in the park?
Promise to myself and others:
- Continually update my journal with workouts
- Provide significant epiphanies (whether about personal diet, etc)
Couple things I've learned about myself as of today:
- I prefer larger pre-workout meals over smaller meals with shorter "wait" periods
- Intermittent fasting (IF) was preferred when I was awake for a shorter period of time. I currently eat 3x/day since my schedule is longer- 6 am-11 pm (sometimes even up to midnight or 1 am).
- Starches work well for my pre-workout meals as well- great energy

Tomorrow will be upper body. All in all, obviously not my best workout haha definitely will eat more tomorrow. I ran out of energy at the gym today, and my stomach was screaming mercy at me by the end of the workout.

SO looking forward to Friday, yet it's only Tuesday.

New journal is new, IN! Nice numbers on the back squats, a very humbling exercise when you do it right. Also gotta say awwww at kitteh pic, I love when they just sprawl out on you like that and go lol if you think I'm letting you up to go to the bathroom anytime soon!

Laptop battery is at 8% and about to die out on me so I have to post quickly...ahhh
Cardio (running) + Abs in between classes. Planning on legs tomorrow (!!!!!!!!!!). Hopefully I have a method to get to the gym since my car has been having a whirlwind of issues (and it's only 4 years old!)
After class, went to an authentic Japanese restaurant for a friend's going away dinner. He's leaving back to Toronto, Canada! Now I don't have a Canadian to poke fun. heh
Wow, on another note, told my mother today my plans of maybe leaving the hometown for good. Mothers out there know how difficult that is with kids leaving the nest lol (I wouldn't know)
Tomorrow is basically my Friday. Damn, I love Thursdays.

Good Lord...I'VE BEEN GONE FOREVER!
I apologize for the FIVE day hiatus. Probably the longest break I've had...ever, yet it's probably good for my health anyways. I was pretty much forced into the hiatus with my car in the shop and my birthday weekend of being on a cabin trip. Had lots of food, good company, and most importantly...finally got to see my Chicago boyfriend after being away from each other for little over a month. So pretty much thur/fri I was carless. Then my friends picked me up for the cabin trip which lasted from Fri-Sun morning. I had a huge birthday dinner (26 people?) Sunday night so I could see the rest of my friends for my Birthday. I turned 22. Yeaaaaah, I know. So old, right? :P
(BTW- training hiatus will be broken today. Squatting today with Dracoy! I'm so lucky.)

KG, you didn't read the whole post!!! I said I didn't deadlift because I snuck those in on my leg day. I didn't want to work my lower back two days in a row
