how do you size jeans in Canada. You just say 30. Is that waist size. What about length?

Pretty much all raw denim is sold by a tagged waist size regardless of location. You just gotta do your research. That brand is always a 34" (might be 35" can't remember). And the waist size is vanity sized by 2 so tagged 30=true 32. And they'll stretch a bit. You can find a size chart with ALL the measurements (waist rise thigh knee ankle etc) and figure it from there, ignoring the tagged sizes of pants you usually wear.

depending on the brand you can check out blueingreensoho.com or blueowl.com for measurements, they measure all their stock when it comes in and averages it out. im a 31 true to size and usually they say to get a 29 (which is actually a 31) but i intend to get bigger + squatting 5x a week i chose the size that will fit my quads more cuz i can always wear a belt.

also depending if its unsanforized(unshrunk)/sanforized(preshrunk) you will have to adjust for shrinkage. some jeans stretch a bit too so when you first get them youd want to get them slightly tighter but itll stretch out to a perfect size.

naked and famous jeans are usually 35-38 length in the inseam and other raw denim have extra long inseams so you can do whatever you want with them. either make stacks or you can hem them and theyll also fit for taller people.

i bought these from the US so its cheaper since they have more sales/variety

actually your old navy jeans are probably vanity sized too, i always thought i was a 29 but then i measured a nice fitting pair of jeans and it turns out theyre 32.5. thats probably a combination of vanity sizing and stretching.

the only complication would be for when you buy online since you havent tried them on yet. what i did was check the charts and also went to a holt renfrew to see which size will fit me and compare the two.

ordered it last night, should be here in a few days. Im primarily gonna use it at home for my back and my legs and i cant really be bothered constantly swapping/relocating the roller on such large muscles. Thats why i bought the small half smaller half size to carry around with for convenience if need be. I bought the blue just for staying safe, its gonna hurt regardless.
