Just curious if anyone had good experiences with different diet techniques in a bulk phase to stay somewhat lean looking? The reason I ask is because I lean bulk but I hold a lot of water in calorie surplus, its never been a big deal but for pure sanity reasons I am looking into incorporating a different diet. I have read about the Paleo, IF, and Keto Styles and wondering if these have worked well for anyone here.

Personally I like to bulk in steps. I cal surplus to around a 1lbs/wk gain and do so for 8-10lbs and then cut half (4-5lbs) back and repeat. I've had great results and because you only diet for 3-4wks it's nothing to get scared over for a long cut phase and you also don't feel nervous about carrying to much fat. If you start to chuck up past your liking then just add a couple more weeks to your cut.
My $0.02 is worth $0.03
