For some absolutely strange reason I can tense my left shoulder blade, yes my shoulder blade. It sticks out from side view alot. I find this really strange and have just noticed it. I cant do the same on my right.
What gives?

yessss......
I know right? But for me, I can only do it on my left side. So I look like I a lob sided moron when I tense it (see photo attached) Ive read that you can get this problem if you work your chest disproportionally to your back. So the peck pulls the blade up but the counter muscle is too weak. And to be honest I have been doing chest five times a week. :/
One is laxed, the other is my tensed shoulder blade lol.

I can do the exact same thing. As far as I know and have read on its called 'Winged Scapula'
Check my latest thread for more info on this ;-)
It basically means your shoulder blade protrudes in an abnormal position and can stick out your back. It can cause issues in some people for mobility. For me, I just hate the sight of it.
And yes, it does make your Traps look bigger, because it pushes them up kind of (not that this is a good thing...)Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about!

Yeah, I feel you, mine seems okay in normal activities Its only certain movements where I tense my pec it happens. I am 99% sure its because I have overworked pec and done nothing for others. I was an idiot and all I did was dumbell bench every frigin session. The other day I did a set of dips and I felt afterwards like I was forced in a hunch like position with my left scapula out.
I am going gym real early tomorrow and would like to know any exercises or stretches I could do to strengthen the scapula muscles.
Thanks in advanced.
