I'd have to go with an english speaking country because I'm not bilingual so that limits it down some.
Canada would be similar to where I am now but I'd prefer a warmer climate...

I would say either Australia or Italy.
Both are great, modern countries that have many similarities to the United States. It would be hard to choose one over the other.
