I am just curious, some people go to the gym only 2-3 days per week.. have great bodies..
I am so frustrated how I am seeing the progress this damn slow.. must be doing something very stupid.. but it is ok, I LOVE the workout part... my eating habbit has been better than last year, but I still find myself eating 200-300kcal over every other day.. (my target is 1300kcal)
Ah!!! Can I just lose 1 pound a day? lol

You're probably overeating because 1300 calories is far too low for someone who's lifting weights, and your body is not tolerating it! At 5'4 and 149 pounds, assuming "moderate" exercise 3-5x weekly, a good calorie intake for weight loss would be 1500-1700 calories.
Remember that fast weight loss is not lasting, and lasting weight loss is not fast. It's never going to get easier, but keep measuring/weighing in weekly and seeing those numbers go down, down, down. You'll get there!
As for working out every day, if you're doing different muscle groups or different activities every day, then I don't see why not. I generally do some form of exercise every day, but that's because I lift, practice yoga and am currently training for a triathlon. 3 or 4 days a week of lifting is all you need to see results, but there's no reason why you can't work out more if you love it. (Notice I didn't say "if you feel like it'll make your results come faster." You won't be able to get yourself into the gym every day unless you really want to, and there's nothing wrong with taking rest days when you don't!)

I was doing 6 days a week for a while but it was very hard on my body. I was lifting full body 3 days and running 3 days. That was before I was training my legs properly though. Now I usually need a day of recovery for my legs after lifting and haven't been able to run as much.

Depends what you are doing in the gym. I do 2 days of just compounds lifts, but that gets my whole body. Then every alternative day I will do my arms and some shoulder work. Cardio doesn't have to be done in the gym. Get involved with a sport team! 2 training sessions and a game is more than enough cardio if you are doing soccer for example.

i would get my diet perfected before overkilling it in the gym. Some ppl say cals are too low, but u admit to going over every other day. It's true that TONS of activity plus a huge deficit can stale fat loss for a ilttle ( http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat...-fat-loss.html ), u would truly have to be overtraining and barely eating.
I think if u dedicate yourself more to your diet, u will see the results u seek

Life is too short to spend every day in the gym.
Also, remember that in terms of exercise and rest ... rest is just as important as active exercise. At one point I was hitting the weights 4x a week and at least running every day that I wasn't in the gym. I thought I could keep it up but lack of recovery ended up keeping me out of the gym for almost 2 months waiting for a jacked up shoulder to heal. If I'd been smarter and come up with a more reasonable split and not hitting the same muscle groups as much as I was ... I might have saved myself the pain. Oh well, live and learn.
Byinlarge, weight loss starts and ends in the kitchen.

she meant weak i believe, bmr- 500 = -1 lbs per week in simply diet alone, add in cardio and your looking @ 1.5lbs per week.
OP eat bigger breakfasts (your body has to have a reason to burn fat calories throughout the day), and workout in the mornings if you can (not fasted), you should see better results.
If i could spend every day in the gym i would. I love working out, but being an ecto i have to force myself to restCertified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Because I've always been a huge binge eater(I'm talking about 8000 calories no problem), I fight my weakness by doing IF and going to the gym 6-7 days a week including cardio all that time. I'll try and take off 1 day every 2 weeks but that's about it. If my body tells me I am overtraining, then I take a few days off.

i absolutely LOVE being in the gym. it's my drug. i get my intensity and anger and frustration out when i'm in there. it's like meditation for me. i'm in there 5-6 days a week. i practically have to force myself not to go on saturdays (official rest day and cheat meal day). i could get away with 3 really intense days a week, but i love the atmosphere and all the friends that i know from different places that go there as well. it's like being in a club, i see these people where i work and out and about around town, and it's just a great feeling going back to that 6 mornings out of the week. it also gives me more reason not to sleep in and waste the beautiful mornings.

Ive been going everyday for about 4-5 months now or trying to every now and then ive slipped up and took a day or two off but ive just been alternating between my upper and lower body. So im not working the same muscle groups two days in a row. Not sure if thats ideal but i havent had any problems with it gained about 10-15 lbs of muscle since i started.

I virtually never go to the gym every day of the week, there are some 7 day stretches where I do. I define going to the gym as health club weights and cardio.
Being active. When things are going well I try to everyday sometimes for week's on end.
Active equals:
5K run, 20K bike ride, 2 hours of ball hockey or . . . traditional gym.
If the weather stays relatively dry today I'm going to skip a workout and do yard work. Adding a new raised garden, and transplanting some things, it'll be physical labour, just not as many calories burned as at the gym.
Just remember . . . . be careful what you wish for. if you could lose a pound a day, I'm sure that you could gain one too!!ABILITIES: In car mode, his engine emits vibration that causes mechanical failures in other vehicles...can speed to 200 mph...uses concussion cannon in robot mode (for similar breakdown results in other vehicles)
PROFILES: Extreme self-consciousness...thinks everyone is staring at him--even other cars and stoplights...finds heavy traffic nerve-wracking...would prefer to be human so he'd fit in better...prone to leaky fuel pump.
