Lol what a coincidence just finished drinking 2 scoops of combat powder cookies and cream and I'm about to go to bed now.Tastes pretty good the best cookies and cream protein out there imo.
The great thing is since it's a blend You can basically take it anytime as it has fast, medium and slow digesting proteins.

Haha! That's crazy man, well I'm not too crazy on taste but if it taste good then I ain't complaining. I used to take Opti 100% Micellar casein but combat powder is 10 bones cheaper and plus I can use it as a meal replacement and it'll be better than using just a straight up whey shake. Thanks bro!

I've always wondered about the ratios in it????? I mean, are you actually getting any real amount of casein?

To OP, if you want your pre-bed shake to have a good amount of slow-digesting protein (e.g. casein) then you may want to consider a blend that is not proprietary (i.e. they disclose how much casein is in the blend). Combat tastes great and I actually use it but not for pre-bed. Based on the texture (it is a thin as a whey concentrate), cholesterol content (similar to a whey concentrate instead of a blend like Trutein), and the fact that I get hungry very shortly after drinking it tell me that Combat is sprinkled with casein. Yes, you could mix with milk but milk has significant amount of sugar in it and only around 8g of casein per cup. Aside from Trutein, other good options for non-proprietary blends are XF and Beverly.
