I'm trying to cut a few lbs. gained from holidays and ate a PB sandwich on whole grain bread after a cardio workout today. Will I gain fat? Calories are still 500 under maintenace for the day.
I did cardio today - no weight lifting.
Edit: Also my weight is not correct, I am 185.

Fit your peanut butter, eggs, butter, whole milk ... whatever ... into your macros and keep to your total calorie goal. People assume that a lot of foods that are rich in fats are bad for you on a cut ... but quite the contrary. They're MOST important for you on a cut because they'll give you the dietary fat you need for proper hormone sythesis.
Drink the milk. Eat the peanut butter. Eat the whole damn egg.
Eat your protein.
Eat your carbs.
Eat your fat.
Fit it into your daily macros = profit.

"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

Yeah PB is a reasonable source of protein, but per serving you get a lot more fat than you do protein. PB sandwich ends up being more fat/carbs than protein. Not saying it's not a good healthy food to eat ... but if you're looking for "sources of protein" you'd be better off with a lot of other things.

Yeppers! I sure as hell love peanut butter but I consume it when I've been too low in fat for too long. And besides, a single tablespoon is just barely enough to cover a slice of bread. Those calories can add up very fast if you're not careful. That's probably the only thing I'd ever measure out with measuring spoons.
