    Smile december will be different for me! anybody want to join me!

    i started working out almost 1.5 years ago.
    i was 205lbs at my worst and cut down to 160 then i started lifting, building little mass and went back to 180lbs.

    my issue is that i was never never never able to maintain a proper diet or routine for more than 2 weeks. i always crashed half way through and went off track for a few weeks before picking myself up again.

    im going to try to change this going into the 2011 new year but maintaining a solid diet and routine for entire month.

    if anybody else wants to join in or post feel free.


    cliffs:
    205lbs--->current
    never able to maintain anything solid for more than few weeks
    gave up and lost everything i gained
    going to try to make it a whole month without falling off.

    Count me in. Diet has been the toughest thing for me as well. The convenience of junk food and fast food ends up trumping my desire to eat healthy in many cases. I'll try this out too.

    In. Get ridiculously bored so I constantly have to be changing things up. Get bored fall off the wagon, back on, get bored fall off, back on etc. A month is a good short goal. Lets stick to it.
    No wealth like health. Fortunes lost may be earned again but once health is lost, it's a different story.

    Going to Gold's tomorrow before work to sit down with a PT and figure out some goals and membership.. I'm tired of being chubby..

    friends- i cant be a hermit so i got out and a quick coffee run somehow turns into a night of heavy drinking and food binge, after that one night i feel like **** the next day so i dont work out, then i make excuses for nothing working out for the rest of the week...

    school- every week the pressure of a test or assignment does me in. i know school should be a priority before working out but i just use school stuff as a reason to not even bother eating clean.

    This. I think boredom still applies to me even though I'm bulking. Certain things are easy to eat when bulking, but that's fun for a short time before it's easier and cheaper to eat fast food. I don't want to dirty bulk lol

    Amen. I'm in the same boat. I am forcing myself to stay inside more this winter. Not that I'm trying to lose weight, but gain it, and I need structure and consistency to make sure I train regularly and eat all the time.

    need to STEP it up for summer. November has been great, but looking to advance with my goals. I'm bulking smartly, and haven't started to cut quiet yet. I should look ok if I go somewhere for Spring Break, but summer is my goal.

    Piece of advice to help with your success -

    Write out a nutrition plan. What to eat - When to eat. It'll really help keep you on track and on the road to your goals.

    Also try preparing as much as you can in advance. I personally cook all my lunches for the week and freeze them and have a big tub of Oatmeal/ Cereal mix that I scoop from for my breakfast. Just more convenience and keeps from wandering to junk.

    Def in. Who says we need to wait for the new year. I've come down from 320+ to 240 now. Been around there for a few months. Need to stop spinning my wheels and lose these last 20-30 pounds. Gunna go hard this month and bring in the new year already on track. Light weight!!!

    Count me in also. I've been trying to put on some mass since august but every time I start a routine it seems like I get distracted. I could use a little motivation and a kick in the ass from day to day to make sure i keep it up.

    in on this gone down from 255 to 174 at the moment. want to get down to 165 got my first grappling tournament in january and want to make wait early rather than trying to lose it a couple days prior.

    damn i was gonna go out last night and gorge on wings from Kelsey's

    but i controlled myself and instead baked some chicken breast and casein shake.

    Ridiculously in. Put on some unwanted weight and stopped working out as much this semester so far...but this week I found serious motivation from inside my head, and am going hard and getting back on my grind!
    Also happen to have a 15 day caribbean cruise at the end of the month

    dec.2 slept in today since i was up till 2 working on a project.

    gonna hit the gym tonight 1 hour cardio and back, bi, abs

    i left 4 chicken breast thawing when i left for school so im gonna eat those after the workout.

    for lunch i packed tuna salad with black olives and garden salad.

    went to the gym morning for some cardio.

    gonna hit it again around 8 for some legs, abs and shoulders.
    dinner 1lbs of extra lean ground beef+garden salad+casein shake before bed.
