Best cardio to get yourself back into keto?

Hey guys, I was just wondering what type of cardio would be most effective in getting someone back into keto after a carb up. I work out MonTuesThursFri, with a carb up Friday night and Saturday, and want to start doing cardio on Sunday (to help get back into keto) and Wednesday (to burn more fat).

Eileen has recommended LISS to get back into keto, as it will likely deplete liver glycogen. Wednesday, I'd say HIIT or Lyle's recommendation for stubborn fat (all out for 5-10 min) MISS for 30 min.

Squats + Dealifts + Pull-ups + Presses + with moderate weights (65-70% of your 1rm) in 3-5 sets of 10-15 reps. Followed by 5-10 minutes of HIIT then LISS

It's the fastest, but that isn't what I would acually do on a normal basis.

I find HIIT works the best for me followed by some moderate biking. Also intense leg days always whip me back into keto pretty quickly.

    HITT or LISS

I have been on Keto for a while now and eventhough people say don't do HITT and stick with LISS, I am a firm believe in HITT training. you can look at my before photos from 2 months ago and I feel my transformation has been great. I still have a ways to go, but I don't feel I have lost that much muscle. Hitt training is the only way I can motivate myself to step on the treadmill especially since it is starting to get colder. Just my advice but try HITT and seee how it feels, if you don't like it you can always switch back to boring LISS. Also, I find that I get back into deep ketosis after one good workout followed by 45 min of HITT. Let me know if you have any more questions> Best of luck in all of your fitness goals!

Fating after a good super compensation carb up is a great way to take advantage of high hormone levels and burn body fat to the extreme. just make sure your carb up is to the point of super compensation or you will lose muscle during the fast. Also, make sure you supplement with amino acids during the fast to help retain as much muscle as possible! Good luck in all of your fitness goals and let me know if you have any more questions!

I do not understand how you can possible do HIIT for 45 minutes. Even with a 1:2 work rest ratio I would be sht tired after half an hour.

I don't usually lift on Sundays (the day immediately following my carb up), but I'm interested in fasting and doing cardio so that I'm back into ketosis when I start to lift again on Monday. Can you explain to me what you mean by "super compensation" carb up? And amino acids can be bought at supplement stores right?

Thanks guys, your contributions have been really helpful.
