    Bulked and now read for 3 month cut

    I have bulked over the last 5 months and now I am ready for my first cut ever.





    Any advice? I find it hard to put on weight. I had to eat loads. I don't want my gains to waste away by not eating enough.

    Looks like you ate too much on your bulk. You got pretty chubby. For your cut just go 500 cals below your maintenance and get 1g of protein/lb of body weight and lift heavy

    Yeh, maybe I did. It was the first time I did a proper bulk because I was too scared to put on fat before. I managed to put on quite a lot of muscle as well as fat.

    Thanks for the advice. I'm not going to put any cardio into my routine yet because I don't think I need it. Would you say that is ok?

    o yea, definately. Cardio is not a necessity on a cut. As long as u are in a caloric deficit from your diet then you will lose weight. I personally do cardio just so i burn some more cals ( = you get to eat a lil more food during cut) and for cardiovascular health. But not needed at all

    Big size difference, Nice. Your naturally skinny though so losing it will be easy as all that pie you obviously ate. I kid, I kid. Your gonna look goo when your done, being fat sucks so get to not eating so much. Make sure your lifting heavy.

    This is very true, and well said. Most people swear by cardio, but it is hardly necessary.

    Yea you probably dirty bulked. I see some muscle in the arms though so you did it right but gained a bit more fat. A good cut will get you back down tho.

    something doesn't add up tbh. If you would have clean bulked you wouldn't have put that much weight on around your waist.


    edit: not like any damage is done though, if you cut you will def have gained a good amount of mass compared to before.

    Dirty doesnt mean what food you ate it means if you just ate without counting the cals. A cal is a cal so it doesnt matter if you bulk on maccy ds or on chicken breasts.

    So a clean bulk is 300cals over maintinace and a dirty is just eat everything in site. Ya get me?

    Anyway good job man, yes you put a lot of fat on but being ecto you should be able to shred it in no time!

    Dirty doesnt mean what food you ate it means if you just ate without counting the cals. A cal is a cal so it doesnt matter if you bulk on maccy ds or on chicken breasts.

    So a clean bulk is 300cals over maintinace and a dirty is just eat everything in site. Ya get me?

    Anyway good job man, yes you put a lot of fat on but being ecto you should be able to shred it in no time!
    I'm still not sure though cos I was only putting on 1 to 1.5 lbs per week, which is about right from what I read.

    I tend to put a lot of weight on my lower body. You can still see my abs a bit after the bulk.

    I will try and put another photo up with better light sometime. Maybe it is the light :P
