    question about bench/incline bench

    when you lower the bar...should the bar be above..on..or below the nipples?

    Depends on the person,target,style,grip...All are possible and used by various individuals.

    For flat I'd say about the nipples, if incline then above, but each to their own that just works best for me.

    Yep. If you are going for weight and strength (powerlifting), it's best to go to just below the pecs, around the very top of your abs. If you;re looking to gain pec size, most people will recommend going to about the nipple, or just above.

    I personally like to touch just below my pecs.
