I made a protein shake using a scoop of protein powder, some ground flaxseed, about a 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and about 2oz of water. The base of the shake was too watery tasting. What can I use to make it thicker or creamier? I don't want to be drinking a gallon of heavy cream a day.
Should I try eggbeaters or raw eggs? (Not afraid of salmonella) Any other suggestions?
Side note - I have a pissed off, impacted wisdom tooth and need to avoid chewing as much as possible until I can get the thing removed. Otherwise, I'll have to put a bullet in my jaw and therefore diet will not matter anymore.

1 scoop whey + 6-8oz of water...its protein, not top shelf scotch. I drink it for its benefits, not its taste.
If you have a good flavor, you dont NEED it masked with milk or cream. I would LOVE to drink my protein with cream, im sure it would be fantastic...but I wouldnt spare the calories for a PWO shake at all. Much more beneficial fats from nuts and oils than to waste it on cream.~ Infinite Labs Rep

Just add guar or xanthan gum to thicken your shake. All fiber.
1tbsp Xanthan gum = 30 cals, 7 grams fiber

What do you guys use for Almond Milk? Because I bought this Almond Milk from Trader Joe's..only 2g of carbs per 8oz. I used 4oz and 2oz of HeavyCream. Came out pretty good.

Not crazy about the RiceStarch in the ingredients though.
* Organic almond base (filtered water, organic almonds)
* Organic rice starch
* Organic vanilla
* Sea salt
* Natural flavor
* Carrageenan
* Riboflavin (B2)
* Vitamin A palmitate
* Vitamin D2
I considered making my own...found some recipes online..but this stuff was on sale for $1.69 and Almonds are freaking expensive.1k.

my best advice to you, would be you can either drink a watery shake and keep on track in ketosis
or you can worry about taste and try to put some some crap in your shake
just mix it with water, and drink it as fast as you canMatthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well

My post-workout shakes taste HORRIBLE. I just slam them as fast as possible.
I mix 2 scoops Body Fortress Strawberry Protein Powder from Walmart, 10g creatine monohydrate, 2 tbsp of whole fiber supplement, 20g dextrose, 20g maltodextrin, 2 tbsp whole foods veggie/fruit supplement, and enough water to fill the rest of my shaker cup.
I'm sure I could make them taste better, but I'd rather not take the chance putting a bunch of crap in it.

Sort of off subject, but you might want to check your whey. I stopped taking body fortress because it had creatine in it already (which I did not know at first) and I was supplementing with creatine. So instead of 10g, you are probably taking in around 15g per shake (not sure the exact amount they put in per scoop though).

Are there any negative efffects to taking too much creatine? I knew there was some in the whey, but I wasn't sure what kind of quality it was anyway, so I figured getting a little extra wouldn't hurt me.
I'm aware creatine makes your muscles retain water, but is this really severe? Are there any other side effects?

Ive always used water. If I am carbing up, I will mix with some skim milk, but still prefer the taste of water. Sounds like you may need to choose a different protein. I preferred the taste of chocolate ON whey with milk and not water... until I purchased Myofusion.
