Hello Everybody!
This is my nutrition/clean bulk blog! Today was the first day I decided too start eating!
I've been battling ED for a little while and I've decided to tackle it!
Please feel free to critique my diet/meal plans/ ect.!
I'll be chiming in daily/weekly with pictures of my meals and progress... As well as strength gains made in the gym!
A little past info on me..
Last year around this time I weighed in at 215 pounds @ 5'9.. Very depressing life at that point.. Lost weight during the summer and weighed in at 191.5 at the end of august. From then on I'd decided too get healthy and really start taking care of my body.
However, I had VERY little knowledge of nutrition then and had no clue what the hell I was doing. During the months of september, october, and november I'd gotten down too 170-175 the unhealthy way. By starving myself and eating VERY little throughout the day and exercising at night.
Finally, At the end of december I found this site! I lurked the forums for a while and got some much needed information. I then started my cut at 175, Around the end of december.
Fast forward too now and I'm 142 pounds in the morning and I'm completely sure of my bodyfat percentage. I've been on a cut for a good solid 3 and half - 4 months and haven't cheated at all, During this time. Other then the occasional "splurge" which involves me going over my 1200-1300 calorie limit by eating an extra 200 calories of brown rice, and other things like that.
I haven't had a drop of liquid other then water for the past 3-4 months and I used too be a diet coke addict. So, this has been kind of hard for me. This cut has basically pushed me into having an Eating Disorder that I want too get under-control. I want too stop looking "skinny-fat" and I want too start building muscle..
DIET-
My current/past diet has consisted of nothing but.
- Veggies/ - Every single day of the week (Broccoli,Spinach,Bok Choi,Snow Peas,Squash,Zuchinni,Shredded Carrots)
- Fruits - 2x a week in the morning (Frozen Strawberries/blueberries)
- Complex Carbs - 3-4x a week ( I tend too cut down on these, because I'm afraid of too many carbs) They consist of Brown Rice, Steel Cut Oats, WW bread
- Lean Meats/Fish - 5-6x a week (Shrimp, Raw Fish, Salmon, Tilapia, Tuna, 98% fat free chicken, extra lean ground turkey)
- Dairy - 4x a week at breakfast -(Non-Fat Milk/Non-Fat Yogurt/ Non-fat Cottage cheese, Egg whites, Greek yogurt)
- Protein- ON nutrition whey (3x a week in pancake mix)
Like I said this has been my diet for the past 3-4 months and I've lived off of 1200-1300 calories a day, on top of cardio 6x a week/ Running over 35 miles per week over all, at high intensity.
I eat 3x a day. Breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Breakfast - 400-600 calories/60-80carbs/20-30 protein
Lunch- 250-350 calories/20-30 carbs/30-40 protein
Dinner- 350-600 calroies/25-40 carbs/20-30 protein
Like I said I'm usually getting 1300-1400 cals in on an average day and I realized with the help of some really really helpful people. That I need too up these in order too gain muscle.
Here are some pictures too give you guys some insight on my body..

Flexed (Not much too show here sorry guys ;/)
So, there you have it! Like I said I'll be making daily/weekly logs of what I eat, and I'll be updating it on here!
And I'll be upping my calories from 1300-1400 per day. too 2000-2200 per day with at least 75 grams of fat/ 250 carbs, and at least 140 grams of protein.
I'd like to thank "The Solution" and "TheRosemeck" for being such great motivators for me too finally conquer this ED.
Like I said PLEASE feel free to critique my meals and anything that needs critiquing ☺.
Thanks!
Erik

Glad to know you are overcoming your issues. However, you are going to need a hell of a lot more than 1800-2000 calories (what I estimated your daily intake to be after dinner) to bulk. 2000 is a good start for now, but try to be getting in around 3000 by the end of the month.

Thanks Everybody for the replies!
Tonight I powered through a Veggie stir-fry /w chicken and brown rice...
And for the first time in months, I've gotten too 2000 calories!!
This may not seem like a big deal too some, but this really is big for me.
All this time I've been scared of food, and today I just ate and wanted to get as much protein as possible in!
Here are my macros for today..

1/2 cup Non Fat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup frozen blueberries/strawberries
Walden Farms Syrup/Fresh Ground Cinnamon drizzled over the top
Little over 100 calories and about 11 grams of protein

It's fine to do something like this initially to help hold yourself accountable but realize by doing so you're still a little too focused on food.
1 step at a time though. I still highly, highly, highly, recommend therapy. What did your parents think about the idea? (of therapy)
It's also fine to increase calories gradually, but they will need to come far above 2200Realize that anyone with an affiliation to a supplement company in their signature has ulterior motives when making recommendations. They're primarily concerned with pushing their products. Not your safety or what's best for you.

i like your history erik,
i hope your aspirations to put on some solid lean muscle are true and that you stick to them!
one of the problems in society is people want to lose weight period. muscle + fat..everything. they dont realize the destruction they are doing by doing that.
its all about the muscle baby
good luck, im going to subscribe to this to see how you progress through the months and years!

Breakfast was good this morning... Cinnamon Waffles.
500 Calories/19.5 Grams of Fat/35.5 Carbs/47 Grams of Protein!
They turned out "okay"..
Batter was
1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 Scoop ON Chocolate Whey
1/4 Liquid Egg Whites (Wanted too finish off my carton)
Baking Soda
1/2 Cup of Water
1/2 Cup of Nonfat Greek Yogurt
Cinnamon
The Finished "Stack"
The Best part was though, the almond butter!! I was sick and tired of just smearing it on some waffles and having everything stick together, so I thought I'd make it into a "Hot Cinnamon Sludge" and pour it over my waffles..
It was DELICIOUS!!
The Finished Product..
