Help me find a health birthday dinner

I am on a cut and counting my cals and trying to keep my protein high. I am getting taken out to eat a couple times this weekend for my birthday, but I dont wanna go too overboard. I have done searches for healthiest casual dining spots and so far it looks like I might hit up Uno Chicago grill.....does anyone have any better ideas??

It's your birthday so I would go where you like to eat and enjoy it. If you need to justify it then consider it a refeed. It's not like you have to order two entrees and a dessert, but I wouldn't sweat over a few meals when you're out with your friends and family for your birthday. With that said, you can find something relatively healthy just about anywhere depending how you order.
Back from my second rotator cuff injury... back to bulkng, trying to gain 8lbs over the next 8 weeks...

    3/29/10... start bulk 161lbs @9%bf

Dieting in deficit for period of time, leads to slightly slow metabolism.

Usually when individuals are dieting, they're in constant low calories/carbs.

Refeed is once every 1-2 weeks of maintenance/surplus calories in mostly carbs to stabilize your hormones like Leptins (one of them). Allowing your body to metabolize normally like before.

Anyways, its your b-day. Eat what you've at hand or really urge for. You've rest of the year to diet it off.

Bro just eat, its your birthday, eat meats and veggies, if you can try and stay away from fried foods, and huge desserts. We all have days where we aren't going to be eating what we need and today is a huge day where people are going to eat a lot more and drink a lot more for the super bowl.

As it's been said, try and enjoy it being that it's your birthday, but aim for a grilled lean meat and veggies.

Be careful with veggie sides though as a lot of places put butter on them so if you really want to keep it as clean as possible make sure to request they don't butter your veggies.

I would go with two slices of Angel Food cake and 2 scoops of french vanilla ice cream.

What, you plan on eating a bag of brussel sprouts for your birthday? Wtf.
I can resist everything except temptation.

if your really concerned about it, TGI Friday's has a "right portion right price" menu that has some good stuff.

    for example: dragonfire chicken:

    Calories: 437, Fat: 8g, Carbs: 0g, Protein: 48g

thanks...actually I think I am going to Uno's after all. They have some decent selections from what I can tell. They have multigrain flat bread pizza's, or I could do a 8oz sirloin, or one of their chicken selections that arent too bad as well.

Yeah this happens to me quite often too as I attend alot of social gatherings
see if you can possibly obtain the restaurant's nutritional information online, that way you can make smart choices beforehand

My key to eating clean at restaurants is - communication with servers
always ask if they provide hearty meal options, ask for any sauces on the side, substitite side fries for mixed greens (sauces on the side of course..)
And ask if you can have your meal prepared in a different way, GRILLED is my favourite word, because it grills out the fat from my meat as well

Some of my favourite choices are - salmon dishes (as they are mostly baked, and served with veggies)
Grilled chicken, ask for whole wheat buns instead of other buns, and less mayo, less cheese please, side salad instead of fries

Lastly, desserts are the most dangerous items on the menus
If you really want some share it with someone else, and just have a couple bites then ask them to finish the rest lol
IIFYM - Try to get most of your macros from whole foods. They are high in micronutrients and are needed to maintain overall health
