Push ups and sit ups everyday?

Hi, I am currently a college wrestler. I do about 150-300 push ups and sit ups a day (not all at once of course). I also do about 50 pull ups a day. These are along with my other lifting schedule (lifting Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Do you think I am overdoing it? will I see strength growth?

I do a lot of cutting so I haven't gotten much stronger since the season started. I am lighter and I am stronger (added 5-10 pounds on all my lifts). Do you think I am overworking my muscles? thanks for the help.

If you aren't eating enough (cutting) and staying at 130, then you'll most likely be limiting your strength gains. You can still be strong for a 130, but it will take much longer than if you just gained some weight.

    I

If I was not cutting weight, will I gain muscles from doing 100+ pushups, situps, and 50 pull ups a day? After the season, Im only planning on gaining like 8 pounds of muscles. These are high reps but I feel like it's been halping me maintain my strength. Should I stop these if Im trying to get bigger? thanks

Ask your wrestling coach about what he thinks...

DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE.

DO IT WHEN IT HAS TO BE DONE.

DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

DO IT THAT WAY ALL THE TIME.

Hey, I think it is ok to do those exercises for endurance....but as far as building muscle I dont think that is the best way to go about it....Whaterver you are doing in the weight room with the team is where you will get your strength gains, plus doing the same exercises every single day is not good for adding strength cause you need to increase difficulty and also not train the same muscle on consecutive days...
