Could it really be
Oh yes, yes it could. Do not adjust your monitors, you are reading this correctly. Two of your favorite masochistic, crazy training, big eating, no BS bad-a** bro's are bringing the east coast and the west coast together.
Kirk said a few days back that he'd start logging again if I made my return. Well he had no idea that I was soon to make said return, and in the aftermath of my cute video and foolish food porn, Kirk had the grand idea for us to get a joint log going. Sounded like an awesome idea to me, so here it is.
Who knows where things will go, but I can promise you there will be brutal training doing whatever the fck we want, when we want, there will be lots of cereal, lots of ice cream, sexy glute videos, igreggor productions, lots of clownin on bob , we will sweat blood (for you matty), and an all around bonza time
For our past logs go here:
Kirk: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=5301063
Greg: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4342373
Don't want to flood this thing with my massive posts, so for my epic return see:

We'll both get some updates and such later on tonight I imagine, just wanted to get this thing fired up.
So who will be in first? Kirk has promissed a free bottle of Zap to whoever it is.
Special thanks to Kirk for letting me have the honor of starting the log

I'm baaaaaaaaack! Sunday is my usual deck of cards masochistic conditioning day and it didn't fail to deliver today. The exercise selection alone was brutal and my whole body was torched by the end of this. My GPP/Conditioning/Work Capacity is through the roof right now. HR pushed 190+ and was sitting around 175 the whole time. Killer. Sledgehammer and Tire Flips have strengthened my PC and core a good deal and have good carry over strength to deads and squats. Got 3 JOKERS! I drew both jokers and thought I got them out of the way, but I pulled one back into the deck when I had to draw 5 extra..WTF!
Feels good to be back, and I'll be around people's logs more as we are slowing down here at work now that NFL/NHL are all back and the college/high school guys/gals are back at school. Holla atcha boii!"Don't Talk About It - Be About It"

WELCOME!!
PreWorkout Nutrition: 2 scoops Dymatize Xpand
Workout Nutrition: 3 scoops xtend
Pull
T-Bars:
1 plate
2 plates x 10
3 plates x 10, 9, 8, 8, 9
drop
2 plates x 10
Don't normally do T-Bars first so got a few extra reps as I was fresh. Felt pretty good with these.
Barbell Rows:
115lbs x 10
135lbs x 5
155lbs x 8, 8
165lbs x 6, 6
Still building these back up. They took the biggest hit of all my back exercises when I couldn't work them due to my ankle.
CG Pulldowns:
110lbs x 12
120lbs x 10, 10
10lbs x 15
Felt good here. Got a nice squeeze and more reps at 120 then normal. Crushed the last set pyramiding back down.
Reverse Grip Pulldowns:
110lbs x 11, 11, 10, 11
Haven't done these in a long while so was a nice change of pace. Went a little wider than normal, great way to finish off the back.
EZ Bar Curls:
65lbs x 10, 10, 10 ,10
Slow and controlled. Was happy to just stick with that weight get to double digit reps.
DB Preacher Curls:
30lbs x 7, 8, 8, 8
No clue when I last did these haha. Worked these with a buddy of mine so banged out 4 sets. Probably don't normally do 8 sets for bi's, but whatevs.
DB Shrugs:
1 set @ 100lbs
3 sets @ 105lbs
Stupid DB racks. Did my first set @ 100 then moved out of someones way and to the other rack adn there were no hundos, so opted for 105 rather than 95 Felt really good though, still hit double digit reps on the 3 sets, but I don't count closely so not sure the exact reps
Finisher:- 120m pull
- 45sec rest
x8
A model of consistency as you can see haha. It's always funny cause i'll be so hard on myself for a tenth of a second, or if i'm doing a set time then dropping like 2m, but I just gotta realize that it's such a minuscule difference, it's basically just the timing of like 1 stroke.
Good session today. A bit rushed cause our gym was only open till 1 today and I slept right until my alarm (which was the latest I could afford to get up and still get there in time). Wish I had remembered that the other Golds were open till 3 (ours changed ownership and new owners are teh lamo). Either way, pull has always been my favorite so knew i'd enjoy this one.
On a different note, got my buddy to work in with me on some exercises today. He's a cleaner at the gym (ie: racks weight/organizes gym floor) and he's started to be more consistent with his lifting. Trying to help him out as best I can, but he's trying to emulate this other guy in there who is a family friend of his (Brett, the guy with the huge bench, for Bob and Mike who met the guy), and he just doesn't realize that that guy is a fined tuned performance athlete (US Olympic Trials for track), and the guy has 20 solid years of serious training experience. The kid is knee deep in bro-science and it's frustrating me. His dad was telling me he's pounding like 250g protein a day............@ BW of about 125lbs, lulz. Oh well, will keep working on him, and hopefully he'll listen to me soon. /rant
Day off tomorrow for sure. Was gunna ride today but not gunna happen, will try to get some errands in instead and watch the Open. Was supposed to play tennis with Greg but he ninny'd out, which consequently has cost me a round of golf with Shawno
Lastly, Kirk and I are looking for a new banner. If anyone has a cool idea, or the skillz, please let us know, we'd really appreciate the help.
