    Stiff Legged Deadlift Question

Stiff Legged Deadlift is supposed to be one of the best hamstring exercises right?

but watching people do it...makes my back hurt!

does it hurt any of your lower backs?

It shouldn't hurt...if it does then don't do it or you're doing it wrong.

be sure to get your form right by starting off with light weights.

Don't round your back at the bottom and you'll be fine.

it shouldn't "hurt" your back if done properly, but it will work your spinal erectors. if you want to focus more on your hamstrings, do romanian deadlifts instead, which are often confused with SLDL.
