I'm currently working at Papa Johns while I go to college. We don't carry the whole wheat crust anymore as of last Tuesday and the grilled chicken we have is modified. I saw the nutrition facts on it and there are almost as many calories from fat and carbs than there are from protein. I haven't eaten pizza since I started working there, I mean, it's great pizza, but you get sick of it working around it all day. I watch all the fatties I work with get fatter eating the leftover pizza while I sip on my protein shake, haha.

I make my own with low fat mozzerella cheese, tomato sauce, english muffins and some oregano. I can control the macros and its whole wheat so its a much healthier alternative.

Depends on the quality of ingredients, what kind of topping you use, ETC.
FOR EXAMPLE.
WW Crust
+
Tomato Sauce
+
Olive Oil
+
Grilled Chicken & Vegetables
+
Low-fat Cheese or Mozz.

a GREAT meal, it'll be so good you feel like you're cheating.

well, if you go to a GI database they list pizza, and of course they try to give samples based on a variety of different kinds.
obviously it's not going to be exact in every single case.
i'm honestly confused, if you can measure the G response from oatmeal, why can't you measure it from dough, cheese and toppings?"And Those Who Were Seen Dancing Were Thought to be Insane by Those Who Could Not Hear the Music."

YEAH BUT if your diet is right and u got it at 90% everyday.. then having 4 cheat meals a week wont make a difference... its been proven.... so in a week u can have 4 meals make it waterever it be.. just make sure its the actual thing not some low fat version of let say cheesecake..... if your gonna eat icecream eat the fattest and most tastier, the fat in it is gonna slow down the insulin response in your body.... so its better that it has fats..
or the diet im on.. its called anabolic diet... been on it for 4 weeks... and i get to eat whatever i want on the weekends.... its a bit more lenient then the 90% but i dont expect everyone to diet the same way... aslong as your carbs are in the lower side... and you fats are high and veggies/fruits/nuts/protein... is mainly your diet.. its cool.Last edited by thailegacy; 07-11-2009 at 09:43 AM.
