do you guys ever get to the point where it seems like your abs just wont get any more defined?
mine are at a point where they just wont get better
and its not over training i work them 3 days a week

its all about getting low bodyfat.
also, you should try and do ab workouts that involve adding on weight, like cable crunches and decline abs. My abs wouldn't get more defined no matter what i did for a few months, but they're starting to pick back up now that i'm doing weighted workouts.Start/Now
Back Squat: 155/405
Deadlift: 145/415
Bench Press: 1 pound/1 kilogram

Yup. Most of these guys are right on. It's all about body fat.
Cardio, "cut" diet, and good rest are of paramount importance. Working abs and core is important too, but not as much. ...just enough to hold everything in place until you can see them pretty well. ...no weights IMO until you get the definition (or it'll just look like your stomach is bigger).
Once you can see some pretty good definition then building mass with weights will help quite a bit...
