Triceps Brachii, Medial Head for Horseshoe

My Long Head is popping; I need an exercise to hit the Medial Head.
I am trying to get a good horseshoe.

    My tri exercises are,,,
Kick backs, Dumbbell SC, and pull downs with rope.

Close grip is the trick on a pull down or SC?

    Thanks...

You really need to hit the lateral head for the horseshoe shape.

This means doing something like push downs with the straight bar.
Using the rope will hit the long head although if you twist out at the end of each rep you will hit the lateral head a bit.

I was using the straight bar and rope for many months, a few sets of each plus mil press and bench press. Did the decline extensions last friday on the 10X10 and my tri's were sore in places I didnt know existed! I was still sore yesterday when I was doing my chest to the point I only did 7.5 sets. They seemed to hit all 3 pretty evenly for me.

Focus on Parallel Bar Dips and Skullcrushers or french pressess. Those are your more compound lifts.

When I used to worry about how my triceps looked, I always found a lower BF% helped my medial head pop some more. I'm pretty sure around the medial head is one of the areas where the body likes to store fat.

This^ Try throwing these into your routine for a few weeks and see how it works out for you. I found these and dips were the best thing for my triceps.
