and just as a side note fcukkk anyone who says the yankees buy their world series championships....tonight if they go on and win will be their first ever championship with over a 100 mil dollar payroll. You know the first team to do it? The 04 boston red sox. so if anyone buys their championships its them. not to mentions ortiz and ramirez tested positive in 03 i think it was. So the yankees bought tops 1 world series. 26 you can say nothing for except they were the best team

Why do they keep mentioning Matsui is a triple from the cycle? Only way he'll get one if the ball gets stuck under the fence and Victorino stands there like an idiot.

They should mention that he is 1 RBI away from breaking the record for most in a WS game.

cano always hit 5 for 5 or 4 for 5 against garbage teams and chokes against good teams. his season avg is mis leading

i'm constantly in arguments w/ people about the yankees buying championships. dice k cost the sox over 100 million yet nobody ever mentions the $ in that deal. if you make $ you spend $.
if george cut the payroll way down people would bitch about him keeping too much $ and not getting the bigtime FAs.
