    Training for fat loss

Is doing cardio for 5 days with 30-40mins too much for a week? or is that a good split?

    Sounds good.

What is your cardio, what are your goals, when do you lift?

that is a good bit of cardio, but if you will not get 'burned out' and decide to stop then it should be beneficial
