    because im tall and thin wouldnt doing a deadlift which would be a stronger lift for my body type be more beneficial than doing squat ?

    i thought that shorter people were better at squats where as Taller people are better at deadlifts ?

    well i hate squatting full stop even if its one day a week but i love to deadlift gives me that powerful feel cause im a thin guy :P

    smolov jr is more than enough; I would do it for bench and squat, benching should be a vacation after squatting.

    a smolov esque routine done for cleans sounds interesting though

    The whole "switching thing" kinda f**ked me up. If I had to do it again, I'd squat more at a lighter weight to kinda stay "in the groove".

    Ofcourse it does. The deadlift and the squat are similar exercises for legs. I prefer deadlifts cause they train my grip and upper back.

    Use the same 1RM, but bump it up for week 2,3. And make sure you squat frequently during the "switching" phase.

    go for the full 13 weeks if your up to it!. i added about 30 lbs to my squat. ( i was doing the program on a cut though) you'll be sore like hell but its a great program
