I'm getting sick of reading people saying its a choice when it clearly isn't. Maybe there is glaring holes in my logic but I see it like this :-
Its similar to an instinct and not something you can just choose on a whim.
There are two people (Jim & John) and a Chocolate Cake. Jim cuts himself a slice because chocolate tastes awesome and he can't think anything that tastes better, John on the other hand wretches at thought of anything with chocolate in. Are either of them choosing that they like or dislike chocolate ?, or is it just something that is beyond choice and do not have any power over ?.
So the advocates of Homosexuality=Choice please explain to me how its a choice and not similar to my explanation above ?

Without getting into the moral aspect of homosexuality, you can't make the argument that just because someone likes something that it automatically is a valid and natural preference. I always hear the argument, "If being gay was a choice, do you think I would choose to be gay in this homophobic society?"
There's something to be said for the innate standards society has created, most of them based on survival of the species. That's why we lock up criminals, even if the criminal says "I just like to steal, that's my choice."------------------------------------------------------------------

Great answer. And now the logical extension: Do you expect all the mass-murderers to just "pretend they aren't"? What's the fun in that?!
Jesus was clear about being born again, forgiven and saved. It results from your choice to change your personal direction in life. And that doesn't include continuing along the path of the same sin all the days of your life.

You could think of gay people being attracted to other men just like straight people are attracted to women. I, for one, am simply not attracted to men. Why is it so hard to accept that some aren't attracted to women, but to men instead? Homosexuality is as natural as cancer.

Wrong, buddy. Can you find me one case in the Gospel where a sick person came to Jesus and He refused to heal? You can't, because He healed every single sick person with whom He had contact. Thousands at a time, and He had time for every individual who had a special request. The Word of God never says we will not have to face the challenges of life, because we all do. But He also provided all the answers to these, including complete healing.
