Difference between underhand/overhand and close grip/wide grip when BB rowing.

Do they hit different parts of the back? Just meant for working the muscles from different angles?

An underhand close grip row will increasingly activate the lats.

A wide grip, overhand row will increasingly activate the middle back musculature.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

OK, I've been doing a combination of Yates row and BO row on back days, how does this look:

    5x5: Pull ups
    3x12: underhand BO row
    3x12: overhand Yates row

Underhand - more biceps, more lats
    Overhand - more middle back
close grip- more lats, middle back
    wide grip - upper back

From my experience. I usually just do overhand shoulder width grip with elbows close to my body. Great for lats.
akkxn - just lift heavy ****.
