I just ate about 100g of carbs and I plan on going to bed in a little bit. Do you think that everything I just ate will be converted to fat?

Rofl, in on first page. Just got done w/ other thread.
Btw we should be able to have a discussion thread, all the other sections do.
Semi on-topic:
What is everyone's opinion on meal timing? Would eating 1 or 2 meals a day be the same, body composition wise, as eating 5 evenly space throughout the day, providing macros were the same?

And we were so close to making the first thread a 5-star. I have a feeling this spinoff won't make it

I actually do have a medical question for Mr. Horse:
I always have mucus in the back of my throat (no homo) throughout the course of the day. Not alot, but sometimes enough to hock a pretty nasty loogie. It decreases throughout the day, but when I wake up in the morning it is pretty bad, almost uncomfortable. I don't have congestion in my sinuses either, so I'm not sure it would be allergies, or a post nasal drip. It's more from my chest, if I cough and some mucus comes up."Pain is temporary. Do you have to clear your throat constantly throughout the day? Does the mucous have any taste or feel in your throat? Do you have hay-fever type symptoms at all? Heartburn? Do you have it EVERY day, or just some/most days. Any cough? History of asthma?
The two most likely things are post nasal drip and GERD/LPR (laryngopharyngeal reflux). Could be other things though.
An easy thing to dry is an OTC antihistamine for a bit and see if you symptoms improve. For GERD, don't eat for a few hours+ before bed and see if you have less symptoms in the morning. No sir, I don't like it.

I do clear my throat quite often throughout the day because I can feel mucus build up. It doesn't have any taste, but occassionaly it has a grainy feel. No hay-fever type symptoms or heartburn.
I have been having it every day for a while. It hasn't been as bad lately but it's still there. It used to be so bad in the morning that I'd wake up and have to cough up mucus. But that hasn't happened in a while.
I have a cough but mostly the cough is to clear the mucus. No pain in my chest or scratchy throat causing the cough."Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever."

Try GERD precautions for a week and see if you feel better.
