Bowflex Extreme?
Due to my hours at work (resident physician... and new dad) I am very very limited in my access to a gym. I need something I can workout with on my own and not need a spotter. I found a BOWFLEX Extreme 2 for sale, good price too. anyone tried it? suggestions?

Forget the machine.
All you need: Power rack with dipping and pull up bar(s), bench and a 400lb barbell set.
When you dead lift more then 400lbs get some more weight but that will do you fine to start with.

Yes, with a power rack you can lift alone safely without a spotter, and still reap real iron benefits.
I also guarantee that it will less money than what you'll pay for a brand new bowflex.

Another genius, he found it used at a good price.
The Extreme is a good machine either for building muscle or toning, i've used it after lifting weights for decades. Myself i would take that over the stock suggestion of a rack, bench, etc. Personally i like the Ultimate the best, the original one not the newer mk II version, but the Extreme is also good.

About as simple as this genius LOL I'll be that for most upper body exercises he cannot use max loads on the Xtreme despite the fact he makes blanket assumptions about it. And if you cannot use max. loads on most exercises on it, you have no basis for making stupid statements.

The funniest thing is that it's Xtremely unlikely any of these pinheads can bench, pulldown or military press let alone do arm work with anywhere near the max. resistance on it. PUSSIES hahahaha

Good comeback loser! The idiots that usually resort to swearing, have nothing else to add to the discussion.
