Leo's isn't the worst but I was trying to think of someone else other than Paco.
Branch hasn't got the best genetics but what hes done is amazing. One of the best bodybuilders in the world at the moment. If he was the olympia he would easily crack the top 5, only bad pose for him is front double biceps but that is only because he doesn't bring his elbows right up.

x2. Basically all of those put together = not made for bodybuilding. Especially if they got trouble putting on muscular size or keeping muscular size after dieting.
Yup. Great thickness, but his general structure is bad. Obviously he has genetics for size though.
He actually ain't that bad. Good conditioning and full muscle bellies.
x2, especially on Branch. He looks like a T-Rex. That's why he HAS to be in 100% condition, otherwise he could go from placing in the top 3 or 4 of any show (minus the Olympia) to placing 10th or lower.
Art Atwood is another, but he has the genetics for tons of size. His chest and arms lag behind a bit though. Mainly the arms.

The longer your arms are, the more effective the bench press is as a chest builder.
Think about that.
Guys with short arms get almost nothing out of bench presses other than swollen up tris. The stretch just isnt there.
You might recall those cambered bars they used to use for benching, that had an arch in the middle, so that you could increase rom of benching tremendously.
Those were amazing for building thick chests, only because of the increased rom and stretch.
So take your long armed guy and compare him to me with my short arms. Whenever he benches, its like me benching with a cambered bar - 100% of the time. Longer rom, better stretch - more effective chest builder.
Same thing can be applied to squats, if your core is strong enough to keep the back upright, you will have a longer rom, thus a more effective exercise.Last edited by Vadim Beliaev; 08-25-2008 at 11:08 AM.
