    How often do you train abs?

    I use to train them after every workout (I workout 3-4 times a week).
    However, now I let them rest for a week and noticed a significant gain in their strength.
    So, should I keep on working them every workout or is it better to give them more rest?

    I train them once a week, just do 3 exercises on my shoulders/traps/abs day.

    Your abs work a lot when you squat and deadlift as well, so there's no need to train them so often.

    Well, they are because they don't grow like others do, and they are mainly there to support the back and organs, not to lift weight.

    I'm not looking for strength gains with 'em, just stabilizing / endurance.

    You traing your abs whenever you work out just saying.
    Isolate them once or twice a week but its not necessary.

    I never do isolation exercises for my abs..they get worked when I squat and with some other lifts.

    Decline situps 2 days a week, holding the weight behind my head. I try to increase the weight every month or so, up to 12x25 lbs right now.
