I am going to be honest and say that I have never really been a huge chocolate fan....so for this to get a 9 really means something. I mix all my proteins with water, and I just love how Ultra Peptide 2.0 seems to always taste like it was mixed in milk. The flavor was a real nice milk chocolate flavor with a good hint of peanut butter. The peanut butter flavoring to me taste like that of a reeses pieces. Overall I was really impressed with the flavoring of this product. If I was more of a fan of chocolate I would of rated this higher, but instead I wanted to give an honest view based upon my taste buds.

Formula: 8 / 10
The formula is very solid IMO. If my current diet allowed, this would be my pre bed shake every evening. (switching up flavors every once in a while.) The only real issue I have is that it may be hard for some to fit into there daily macros or diet.....but if thats the case, they can always go to the regular ultra peptide.

Mixability: 9 / 10
I put some water in my shaker, then added the UP, then added a little more water....closed the lid and shook it real good. Upon opening the shaker there always seems to be a frothy mixture settled on the top. The shake is always mixed good, but it always seems to leave some froth at the top. IMO this is not bad as I usually just take a spoon and eat it....but to some it may be annoying. I really dont mind it, as the actual shake (liquid) is mixed great.

Overall: 8.6 / 10
Overall I really enjoyed the flavor of this product, and really think its a solid formula. The only issue I really have is that some may find that its hard to fit into there diets / macros.... and if thats the case, just check out Ultra Peptide. Other than that, I think XF has a winner on there hands.

this is my 3rd favorite flavor after strawberry and banana. it started as my first fave, but i can never get enough of those fruit flavors.

Yeah I have tried this and cookies and cream...... Strawberry is defenitely one I want to try. I know it will be top notch, as Dave sure knows his flavoring.

Great review. This is definitely helpful to me given that you are not normally a fan of chocolate flavoured proteins. It has always been my standard practice to never buy chocolate flavour - they always let me down and made drinking the shake a real chore.

Although I don't use much protein powder normally I could use a nice filling shake pre bed after night shift to help me sleep. Been threatening to try UP for a while now so I may have to give this one a go

I think you will be pleased with the flavoring, and product as a whole. This is the second flavor I have tried of the UP 2.0 series, and I look foward to the others. Like I said, I mix this with water and it taste better than most shakes mixed with milk.
