    protein shake makes me ill

I'm short of money and sometimes i have to buy cheap whey protein. Body Fortress in particular makes me sooo ill.
Recently i've been ill from all kinds of protein shakes though.
When i started using them a few months ago i had no problem but since i started using Body Fortress, whenever i have protein shake i feel ill.

Is it common for some people to react badly to protein shakes?

Hmm..looked it up..no aspartame..it doesn't have digestive enzymes, like Elite and others. I also noticed that it's a blend, not an isolate...try to find an isolate and see if it affects you!

It depends on what kind of protein your using...I developed an allergy to whey even tho I had been using it for a while. It was hard for me to breathe and I was wheezing badly. Now I use Simply Whites and I dont have any problems. What other types of protein have you used?

The other protein I usually use is Promax/maximuscle.
Maybe I have been using too much, I dont usually go over 3 scoops a day though.

Look at the ingredients. If concentrate is listed avoid it. Sn isolate will likely solve your issue.

well there's your problem! body fortress is the cheapest whey out there!...it doesn't break down in your system causing bacteria to grow! i highly suggest you invest in a quality whey like ON or Isopure and STOP[ taking body fortress! go to a nutrition store like GNC or most gyms have whey or can give you advice on what is best for you!...Wal-Mart, not so much!
