2.5 board press- 215 x 11@9, 195 x 11@8.5, 195 x 11@9

Db curl-35 x 11@8.5, 30 x 11@8.5
One arm rope-50 x 11, 11, 11
MISC
All out for OHP went pretty well! I'm happy with 10 reps at 135. I have squat tomorrow and I'm nervous, lower body has been a struggle lately and I'm going back to 5:00AM work outs. We'll see!
I also decided to back off on DB curls and really concentrate on the contraction, etc etc. Felt good!★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

i got lucky and my schedule has enough breaks to where i won't have to do many 5am workouts this semester
135x10 is damn good, i suck really bad at OHP, best i've done is 135x4, and right now 135 is about my max"The weak-minded would shrink away from what must be done for fear of being ridiculed by the wicked" - Terry Goodkind

I knew after my first set of 135 today was going to be a struggle! lol - In my two weeks of death I neglected mobility work and it showed! Time to get back on that. Regardless, I hit my reps so I can't complain too much. I would have liked 10 or so though

I know right?
I just looked at my calendar and figured out the weeks up until my PL meet. The 3's wave will end 2 weeks before my meet which I think is pefect. I'll figure out the best way to use those two weeks and then I'll count the meet as my 1's wave and decide on a new program to start April!

Lookin sharp in here man. I've been stopping by randomly.
You're probably the only other person I know using the RPE scale as well. It's a great tool to keep myself honest.
Keep on it, and I can't wait to make the transition in a few months to a Powerlifting program to build some strength. I'm envious : )"The code of Bushido is harsh and relentless."

Got 10! And now I deload...
I think with a deload every 3 weeks like I'm doing I should be trying to beat the prescribed reps. I'm in a caloric surplus and getting plenty of rest so with my deload schedule I want to beat those numbers. If I was running something where I didn't deload as often or I was in deficit then I'd def. agree!
Thanks man Wasn't a huge one but I'll take it.
RPE Has been nice but I've found myself transitioning away from it here and there. I need to get back on track and stay focused! Thanks for stopping by man.
I peaked at about 173, then I got sick and slipped to 169. Then a did a weak hitting my macros and went back to 173. Now I've actually cut macros back a tiny bit and I'm going to try and drop a few pounds so that I'm sitting at 168 or so. Then I have a PL meet in March and vacation in April. Upon my return I'm going to increase macros again and gain until my next prep! (Stage weight last year was about 152)★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

Hey JP, just wanted to say that out of all the logs I follow yours is probably the one in which I've seen the most consistency and results. You've really come a long way. Props to you.

Thanks brohan!
Thanks man. I honestly really needed that right now. My gains in the gym have started to slow, I'm not overly excited about my physique right now, etc etc and every now and then I think to myself "is what I'm doing is working"? And having an outsiders prospective telling me what you said above really made me happy and feel better about how things are going. When this deload is over I'm coming back with a vengeance!★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

I think that's a pretty common thought amongst us. Putting in all this work and not necessarily always seeing results can get you wondering that into that amidoingitright.jpg mindset. Just know this others see your progress. Whether or not they tell you.
Dude I got you on my inspired by list! She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

I hear ya man, it's as much a mental gain as a physical game, even in the offseason lol.
Inspired list? wow, that means a lot! Thank you, I really appreciate that feelsgoodman.jpeg
