Same thing happened to me. My knees just can't handle hacks. My doc said it was because hack squats put too much pressure on the front of the kneecap (or something of that nature). But I only have 2 years training, as opposed to 30. I'm hoping it doesn't mess with my overall performance down the road. Been sticking to regular stance leg press and now including narrow stance leg press since the contest is over. Knees not hurting from those. Backing down sucks though. I find for me the hardest part is not being able to work around it, but the mental aspect of possible further injury. At least I know I'm not alone on this one.

Day 23 Legs
Had to humble myself and lower the weights and focus on more of a basic pump.
Leg Press 2 sets of 8 + 6 with 840 lbs Solo style on this movement
Smith Squats 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 225 lbs Hellcentrics. Feet were out front and close together. Felt very little pressure on my knees and will definitely go up in weight next week.
Extensions 2 sets of 8 + 6 Solo style
SLDL 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 225 lbs Hellcentrics
Seated Curls 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 195 lbs HellcentricsLets get to work

I like how you're mixing the two styles of the program. I bet your quads were on fire haha
Try doing the a solo set but have your partner take you to the top on the negative reps, it will allow for heavier weight and empty the tank faster than driving a Hummer up a mountainΦΔΘ

Part of doing is solo is not having any help. Causes you to work harder to put the weight back up to the start point. Truth be told, this training session was a failure...too light and just didn't hit them the way I wanted. Adjusting for this at tomorrows leg session.
Should be a better session tomorrow.
Nice brother. Thanks for joining in.Lets get to work

Just started using this today for my pre-workout in place of my Pump and Rage. This stuff rocks! The Clyde's Hard Lemonade is my favorite.

Day 37 Quads and Hams and Day 38 Off
Leg Press 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 1430 lbs. I was able to go up since I'm not going down as far. Knee is doing much better since I restricted the range of motion a bit.
Smith Squats 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 275 lbs.
Extensions 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 150 lbs.
SLDL 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 225 lbs.
Seated Curls 2 sets of 8 + 4 with 195 lbs.
Off day today. Not much different these days thats why I haven't posted a vid, but I'm going to put together a couple next week since I have shifted a couple things around for my leg training and I'll show a coupe specifics when it comes to stretching. Caught a little cold but nothing big. Weight is down to 240 lbs even this morning.Lets get to work
