Day 1: [red]Arms[/red]
I was really excited to get back into training HRT, I did about 8 weeks previously and doing it again tonight reminded me of why I freakin love it. I have been carb depleated bad and work out at night so I have been slow and useless in my workouts lately. Not tonight, once I felt the burn in of the hells it was all up from there. I stuck to the outlined Arm program with the adjustment of using cable rope push downs rather than the laying DB tricep ext. I figured its the same movement, I hope thats ok, RAGE ? If it is I have everything set as far as weights and where the machines are in the gym I need for the workout. I also superset my pushdowns with weighted dips .... I hope thats ok too cause i dont fatigue easy and it helps to throw a superset or drop set into my workouts.
Close Grip:
1st set: 65
2nd set: 75
Bonus?!?! 75
One Arm Machine:
1st set: 40
2nd set: 40
Bonus?!?! 40
Tri Cable Push down:
1st set: 50
2nd set: 60
Bonus?!?! 60
Superset with weighted tri bench dips
Standing DB Curls:
1st set: 20
2nd set: 20
Bonus?!?! 20
Preacher Curls
1st set: 15
2nd set: 15
Bonus?!?! 15
I could have done a bit heavier here but wanted to be able to really stretch out the muscle
Reverse Grip:
1st set: 15
2nd set: 15
Bonus?!?! 15
This was my first time doing these, I was somewhat disfunctional at them :/
Overall it was a great workout, I havent gotten a good pump since depleating but I was pumped and couldnt help but practice posing for the show all over the damn gymEat clean... Train Dirty

Day 2
LEGS
So super stoked for Wheels... I am pushing and hoping for big gains here... My goal is to get what I refer to as "thick and hammy" all I want is thick aaahhhmaazzing legs and here is where it gets real, HRT LEGS!
The Workout
I am not taking a pre workout right now due to being on a fat burner and so coffee is my fail safe, on 48 grams of carbs a day this could get interesting trying to push through and giving less than 100% is not an option , my mental game has got to be on point *~fingerscrossed~*
BA motivation for today

2nd 8+4 @ 160
Extenstions:

Hack Squat:
Warm Up: 90
1st 8+4 @ 140
2nd 8+4 @ 140
To Failure @ 110
Love the Hack, Did my HRT sets then pumped out a solid failure set to really set it in
Laying Hams:
Warm Up: 50
1st 8+4 @ 70
2nd 8+4 @ 70
Set 15@60
Stiff Deads:
Warm Up: 115
1st 8+4 @ 115
2nd 8+4 @ 115
I decided to stretch through some stiff leg deads rather than do the Ham push backs... Ill need to watch the leg video again to be exactly sure of what exercise they are using for that set for next week.
Tonights workout was weird.. I felt like I could go heavier on pretty much everything but at the same time my endurance was drained on each set faster than normal. Looking forward to next week.Eat clean... Train Dirty

It's the lack of carbs. Muscle cells operate on locally stored sugars within them. Normally you'll have the rest of your body working on getting those carbs processed and ready for use, but when you don't have the carbs to break down it can't happen. Your body will switch to converting fat into usable sugars. The problem is that takes longer than if your body has something to work with like brown rice, pasta, etc. This is why most athletes eat carb heavy the night before the game. It helps you have more on tap for the stress you're about to go through.
When your stores get depleted you're going to get that quick loss of endurance. It will feel like you don't have the same power, but you do. You'll feel like you'll never get it up but when you push its there. Trust your strength and add the weight. The strength is there, your body is lying to you.

I saw in another thread you mention you had gained 11 lbs on it, thats awesome!! Anyone even mentions cheat meals and I start salivating. Def going to watch your training vid.
Thanks! We are in this for the long haul yah !!?!!
Thank you for this!! Unfortunatly carbs are a thing of the past right now but what you said totally makes sense as I rehash last nights workout with it in mind aaannnddd Im not going to lie, I will now not be so mad at my body cause if it was suckin out the fat to fuel itself thats exactly what needs to happen right now. I was super surprised that I had the strength to accompany it, I swear Miss May Pandora radio has special powers lolEat clean... Train Dirty
